The Word of The Director

Dear visitor,

I am pleased to welcome you on the site of the Golf of Mormal.

Opened in 1991, the course of the Golf of Mormal is located in the Nord Pas de Calais region, between Valenciennes and Maubeuge, in the heart of Avesnois.

The 18 cups were drawn by Jean-Claude Cornillot in the objective to respect the existing environment made up of groves and very many fruit trees (apple trees, cherry trees, pear trees...) which make the treat of the golfeurs throughout the summer.

The Golf is equipped with a complete training center: course school of three cups, practice with shelters, putting-green and approach green. This equipment makes it possible to assert our wish to introduce you the golf to the greatest number as a sport or leisure.

The Golf of Mormal is the ownership of the Crédit Agricole Nord de France since 1993.

Since this date developed an activity of reception and seminars thanks to the installation of conference rooms in an outbuilding of the old farm with the typical square of Avesnois, who also houses the Clubhouse with a bar, restaurant room, living rooms and a billiard room.

The building of reception offers a shop of golf accessories and equipments to you, changing-rooms and a premise for the players equipments.

The visit of our site will give you, I hope for it, a complete vision of our installations and our various activities. Do not hesitate to make us share of your remarks.

While waiting to receive you in the friendliness of our club, I wish our accustomed or future visitors an excellent use of this new tool of communication.

Philippe Alléard
